First Annual Conference: May 14th, 6 p.m.– May 16th 4 p.m at St. Michael’s College, Colchester VT
A holistic restorative approach aims to create the conditions in which students and staff can learn, grow and thrive together. During this two-day event youth and adults will share stories, build community and expand skills and knowledge related to restorative practices, mindfulness, equity, social emotional learning, youth-adult partnership and healing engaged practices.
This event is designed to be more than a conference! It is aimed at shining a light on all the great work already being done around Vermont, expanding our web of connection and community, and furthering our knowledge and skills around a set of topics that are fast becoming essential to our work as educators and school leaders.
We will kick off on Thursday night, May 14th with a story-telling and performance event, followed by a youth-adult partnership day on Friday the 15th, talk and/or film and circle discussion Friday night, and educator workshops on Saturday May 16th. Please hold the date and stay tuned for registration information.
